Haven’t been in a long while but remembered liking it when I came. Came with a friend who is gluten-free so we decided to share everything listed as GF on the menu. So glad I tried the chicken breast with mashed potatoes. Au jus sauce so the gravy is GF too ; SO good. Highly recommend, to anyone. Not just GF people. The chicken was perfectly marinated and they split it in half for us when we said we were sharing. They start you off with bread which is obviously gluten so I got to eat two of those because she can’t. Whipped butter was a nice touch. Hope they don’t take the chicken dish off the menu or change it. It’s perfect. Will be recommending that to everyone. The appetizer we ordered was fine. Like Cambodian style agedashi tofu instead of Japanese style. It was listed as tofu fries so I found the shape to be a little boring. They could be more fun if they were sliced in another half long ways. Served with Thai style sweet chili sauce. Wedge Salad was better and the chicken was fantastic.

Food was delicious and we had a great time. The atmosphere seems more casual than your usual higher end restaurants. Overall food was excellent.

Excellent service. Food was good but could have been more flavorful. My husband's $48 steak came out half the size pictured and well done instead of medium. They did refire and comped a side salad. Restaurant very loud. For the money, we all agreed, we wouldn't rush back.

First time dining in at Res american bistro. Great ambiance, delicious cocktail, very attentive server for our table, Justin, were our first impression of Res. We had Lobster Tempura, Lamb chops, Burrata salad, Flatbread as appetizer, and The grille’s filet as main dish. Our favorite dishes were lobster tempura and burrata salad with pistachio pesto. For the lamb chop, actually we liked roasted onion mostarda came out as a side better than the actual lamb. Chef Evan seems like talented and experimental on putting different cultural aspect together in each dish. We still have many other dishes we want to try here at Res, so definitely coming back. Event manager, Katie, was also very nice on explaining on details about event options at the 2nd floor when we had some questions. Highly recommend!

We had the Duck Confit with duck fried rice ($36), Lamb Loin Chop Special ($44), the grilled octopus special served with cous cous ($22), and a grilled wedge salad. The specials were probably over priced but they were delicious. The octopus was well seasoned and tender and the Lamb Loin Chops Special was perfectly cooked but you'll probably be just as happy with the Moroccan Lamb Rib Chops for less money. The duck confit comes with a lot of delicious hoisin sauce flavored rice so it is quite filling. The duck confit is very mild (almost more like chicken than gamey duck) and a little dry but still delicious. The drinks here are perfect.

We went on opening night, what a beautiful restaurant inside and out , it’s conveniently located a couple mins off of the highway and right in down town area. They have a 2 floor establishment , but with the windows on both floors , you will get some great views from either while you eat. For the first night being open , the staff were on their game, and they were all very friendly. We were even greeted by the chef and owners which was a pleasant surprise. Now on to the menu , the cocktails we had were amazing , my fave was “ the Sanchez” . The appetizers were unbelievable , you can’t go wrong with the lobster Tempura or the lamb chops. The main courses were exquisite. I had the butter aged sirloin , and it was mind blowingly delicious. I tried a bite of all my friends food and all the food was all flawless. So for my first time this place was everything you would expect from fine dining. I can’t wait to come back !!!

Came here for a dinner hosted by a vendor for work. Was able to try a bunch of different appetizers. Got the lobster roll, wished their had just a bit more lobster. The dessert tart was also delicious. Got the lychee martini and some strawberry drink that everyone was getting. Both drinks were good. Service was very good as there were prob 30 of us. Very attentive all night.
